Syllabus Structure (Overview)
Each syllabus document is organized to provide clarity on the academic expectations and assessment methods. Students should refer to the following sections within their respective program documents:
1. Course Structure & Credits
- Total Credits: Breakdown of the required credits for successful completion of the program (e.g., M.A. requires 80 credits).
- Core Courses: Mandatory foundational papers (e.g., Classical Grammar, History of Literature).
- Elective Courses: Optional papers allowing students to specialize (e.g., Digital Lexicography, Sufi Poetics).
- Project/Dissertation: Credit weightage and guidelines for the final research thesis in the fourth semester.
